From all the above options, Option C is untrue. Ottomans actually did not refuse to permit non-muslims from entering Constantinople.

Other options actually did happen. For example, the famous Hagia Sophia Cathedral was converted into a Mosque, the name of the city was changed to Istanbul and the Ottomans were able to control the waterways.

The Muslim conquest of Istanbul is a turning point in World history and something that had huge ramficiations in the coming centuries. Once known as a stronghold of Christianity, the country today is approx. 95% Muslim.
