It was primarily "two world wars" that happened in the world between 1900 and 1950, since the First World War took place from 1914-1918, and the Second World War took place from 1939-1945.

How did the Constitution ensure limited government?
Savatey [412]

This one is a little tricky with the answers, because it does deny the President the power to interpret the Constitution, and also specifically states the power the gov't has. The answer I will go with here is; It specifically states what powers the government has. I'm going with this one because the writer's of the constitution painstakingly added in many checks and balances to ensure that the gov't could stay structured and not give a branch too much power.

Hope this helps! Feel free to message me if you have more questions or need more help! :)

Select all the correct answers. read this excerpt from president harry truman's radio address to the american people on august 9
solong [7]

The correct answer is option B, D and E.

The Axis powers would have been unstoppable if they had developed the atomic bomb first. The Americans used the bomb to end the war and minimize American casualties. The bombing was necessary to stop aggressive nations that endangered world peace.

What is an atomic bomb?

 • The atomic bomb and nuclear bombs are potent weapons that generate explosive energy through nuclear processes. During World War II, scientists created the first nuclear weapons technology.
 • Only twice in the history of warfare have atomic bombs been deployed, both times by the US against Japan at the close of World War II, in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
 • Following that conflict, there was a time of nuclear proliferation, and during the Cold War, the US and the USSR engaged in a global nuclear arms race for domination.
 • Fission processes provide the energy for weapons like atomic bombs. Nuclear fusion and nuclear fission are both used in thermonuclear weapons, such as hydrogen bombs.

On August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively, the United States dropped two atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The two attacks still stand as the sole instances of nuclear weapons being used in armed combat, killing between 129,000 and 226,000 people, the majority of whom were civilians.

olchik [2.2K]
Ah, very fun topic.

The idea of communism started with both Karl Marx and Frederich Engels in The Communist Manifesto. It started spreading throughout Europe, especially to countries like France and Russia where the workers had to work in bad conditions for little to no pay. In the beginning of the 20th century, Vladimir Lenin gave birth to "Marxism-Leninism", and successfully implemented it in Russia after overthrowing the provisional government. After WW2, under Stalin, many Eastern European countries became puppets of Soviet Union, thus gaining communism as their primary party as well. Communism started to decline after the fall of Soviet Union.
