The New Start treaty was the agreement the US made with Russia. Nuclear weapons can cause massive destruction when fired on an enemy. Nuclear bombs and missiles are some of the most destructive weapons ever invented. Only a few countries have created these deadly tools. Most of those governments have signed treaties in which they agree to stop making more and to start taking apart those they have.
