History

The German imperialism in Africa differed from the British one in that that Germany's colonies were ruled by Europeans without input from Africans.

Explanation:

Germany had imperial ambitions for a very long time. Initially, it was Prussia that started with the imperialism in Africa, but that didn't lasted long, nor it had any lasting effect. In the age of New Imperialism, Germany was united, and it was emerging as a global power.

Using its strong military, the Germans managed to invade several parts of Africa, gradually building an empire. Unlike the other imperial powers, like the British for example, the Germans had all of the power in their own hands. The natives were not allowed to have any power, no say in anything, and were totally excluded from the politics. German colonies in Africa were present day:

  • Burundi
  • Tanzania
  • Togo
  • Cameroon
  • Namibia
  • Rwanda

What organization lost credibility once the heliocentric theory was proven?
Anarel [89]

Answer:

The Roman Catholic Church

Explanation:

Before Copernicus's Heliocentric Theory, The Catholic Church believed in Greek philosopher Aristotle's Geocentric Theory, where the Earth was the center of the universe.  He believed- and I kid you not, that everything moving in the sky was propelled by the world-soul, or soul of the planet, and that their orbits were explained by huge, perfect, chrystalline spheres that contained the celestial bodies and surrounded Earth like a Russian nesting doll.  The Catholic Church adopted this theory and sprinkled Jesus on top.

Copernicus (and after him, Galileo) contributed to the disproving of these literally ancient notions.
