Because they were treated very unfairly due to their sex and skin color. All throughout history people have been judges for those two things. I did not Google this. Please give me brainliest! I just need 2 more to lol up!

George Whitefield was one of the most important men from the period of the American colonies. Religion was very important during that time period when the colonies expanded and he played a very big role expansion.

He became a preacher and went on a long preaching trip. His style of preaching drew in people which spread the message of the gospel.

His messages was about the idea of the new birth that us people must be born again to become christ's followers. His words became a significant par of the first part of the First Great Awakening, which swept through the colonies in the mid 1700s as a religious revival that led to changes that would have consequences.
