You first need to convert inches into cm. 1 inch=2.54cm. After you convert into cm, you then convert to cm to meters. 1 cm=0.01m. THEN you have to convert you meters into millimeters 0.001= 1mm. Making your answer 114.3.

What is the product?
Anit [1.1K]

The final answer will be a 3x3 matrix. So you'll have 3 rows and 3 columns.

Along row one, the values are:     10,   15,    20

Along row two, the values are:      45,  -5,   -35

Along row three, the values are:   55,  25,   -15

all of which make up the final answer. Each value in bold is the result of multiplying the outer 5 by each value inside the original matrix given. In a sense, it's like using the distributive property, though we wont be adding any of the values (everything stays separated).

Writethecoordinatesoftheverticesafteradilationwithascalefactorof 1 5 ,centeredattheorigin. y x -10 10 -10 10 0 S T U S(5, -10) →
densk [106]

Answer:

The answer is below

Step-by-step explanation:

Write the coordinates of the vertices after a dilation with a scale factor of 1/5 , centered at the origin.

Transformation is the movement of a point from its initial location to a new location. Types of transformation are rotation, reflection, dilation and translation.

Dilation is the reduction or enlargement in the size of an object by a scale factor (k). If k > 1, it is an enlargement and if k < 1, it is a reduction. If a point A(x, y) is dilated by a factor k, the new point is A'(kx, ky).

Therefore, if the vertices are dilated with a scale factor of 1/5 , centered at the origin. The new point is:

S(5, -10) → S′(1 , -2) T(10, -10) → T′(2 , -2) U(5, 10) → U′(1 , 2)
