Which two revolutions inspired Latin American countries to declare their independence from Spain?

The American Revolution was a very large factor as the colonists fought off the largest power in the world and gained independence. Many countries including Venezuela borrowed American ideals in their fight for independence. As for the second answer, I would say the Mexican war for independence could have pushed other countries to leave Spain, but I'm not completely sure.
