The author seems to  be angry at the "storm" for causing damage. I believe the answer is A. It is impossible to really know what tone the poem is being told, but context clues in the answer choices help us answer it. The words crash, crushed, hurled and swirl do not convey a tone similar to being calm, so it cannot be answers c or d. It is either A. or B. I chose A though, because if I was in such situation, I would be agitated, and the author does not seem relentless when writing this poem.

I hope this helps.

Otrada [13]
Throughout this passage, Wiglaf is presented as a model of loyalty. When all other warriors act like cowards, retreating to safety, Wiglaf decides to risk his life and stand by his old king in this last battle. He still doesn't act as Beowulf's equal, but he nevertheless offers him support, as his sworn warrior. Beowulf is indeed encouraged by this act and manages to kill the dragon while receiving a mortal wound himself.

Which statements are examples of formal language? Select two options. “What’s up, how’s it going?” “I hope you are doing well.”
ki77a [65]

Answer:

“I hope you are doing well.”

“We have hired two new assistants.”

Explanation:

These statements are examples of formal language because they have no contractions or slang terms that are commonly used in informal language.

For example, informal statements include phrases like "what's up" and "a bunch," as well as "a ton."

These statements are formal because they don't use slang or contractions like those.

What is this assignment asking me to do?
Elden [556K]
Basically, write about the same event through the eyes of two different people. For example, if someone (lets call him John) got into a fight, a person who is friends with John is going to support him. A person who does not like John is going to try and make him seem bad.
