What is Huangmei Opera and why do so many people like it?
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

Huangmei Opera is one of the five major opera genres in China. It is the main local opera in Anqing City, Anhui Province. The predecessor of Huangmei Opera is Huaiqiang and Anhui Opera. In the middle and late Qing Dynasty, the tea-picking tune was combined with the local folk opera in Anqing Prefecture, Anhui Province, and was sung and recited in Huaining dialect of Anqing, and gradually developed into a new type of opera, which was called Huaiqiang at that time. Huangmei Opera is the main local opera in Anhui.

Which part of the sentence contains an infinitive?
Ilya [14]
An infinitive is the word "to" plus a verb so if you see that in a sentence its probably an.infinitive (I'll give an example below)

Ex: Renee suprised her sister to scare her.
-The infinitive would be "to scare" because it could be mistaken as a verb but the actual verb is "surprised"

Hope that helped!
