Metaphor

The answer is not a paradox.
Similes use 'like' or 'as' to compare two objects or situations.
Personification is when you give a n object human-like traits.
That leaves us with Metaphor

My sister want to leave university without completing her studies to follow a career as an actress. you have decided to talk to
Shtirlitz [24]

ME: Can we talk about your decision on leaving the University?

HER: Um, I guess...

ME: So... why are you wanting to leave?

HER: Um, I guess I just don't believe that I'd be good at it.

ME: What? Why? I've seen how good you are and you are a great actress.

HER: Really? To be honest, people have told me that I couldn't act, but my teacher has told me that I did great.

ME: See? You are good, and people are probably just jealous because you're better than them. You're my sister and I wouldn't lie to you about this stuff because it's been your dream since you were little. Do you remember those plays you and I used to do for mom and dad? Always making them laugh.

HER: Yeah! Haha. Good times, you acted great too!

ME: Truthfully I did it for you because I know how much it meant to you.

HER: Aww... I thing that I'm going to keep acting because of you.

ME: Great! I think mom and dad will be happy to hear that you're not giving up your dreams.

HER: Yeah, me too. Thank you for your encouragement.

ME: Of course, your my sister and I want what's best for you. I look forward to seeing you in a movie someday. Don't let me down.

HER: I won't, I promise.
