The correct answer is - B. Pieces of glaciers that fall into the sea.

The icebergs are small, medium, or very big pieces of ice that are floating in the oceans and seas in close proximity to the Arctic and Antarctic circles.

They form with the cracking of the glaciers, from which pieces of ice fall into the water, but because the water is very old, they do not melt, but continue their trip with the ocean currents, and then melt when they reach warmer waters.

The icebergs are very tricky and terrifying for the sailors, because in most cases, only small part of them is visible above the water, while a much bigger ice mass is hidden bellow the water. Because of that, lot of ships haven sunk over the years, with the most famous being the Titanic.

The Boxer Rebellion was a result of outside countries being involved, and controlling Japan.
padilas [110]
It’s true By the end of the 19th century, the Western powers and Japan had forced China’s ruling Qing dynasty to accept wide foreign control over the country’s economic affairs. In the Opium Wars (1839-42, 1856-60), popular rebellions and the Sino-Japanese War (1894-95), China had fought to resist the foreigners, but it lacked a modernized military and suffered millions of casualties.

Which two ancient civilizations practiced human sacrifice
Alex777 [14]
Maya and Inca but Aztec could be in there too

Explanation:

The Incas performed child sacrifices during or after important events, such as the death of the Sapa Inca (emperor) or during a famine

Generally only high status prisoners of war were sacrificed, with lower status captives being used for labour. Human sacrifice among the Maya is evident from at least the Classic period (c. AD 250–900) right through to the final stages of the Spanish conquest in the 17th century.

In addition to slicing out the hearts of victims and spilling their blood on temple altars, the Aztecs likely also practiced a form of ritual cannibalism. An Atztec human sacrifice atop the Mesoamerican temple pyramid.
