aleksley [76]
Both of her poetry works describe the political ideologies through the power of the verses that she has written. The poems reflect on the strong issues that occurred during that time; one of the issues was Women's rights. She believed in that peace and diversity will reign over all the issues one day.

In this excerpt from Lincoln's First Inaugural Address, he argues that the divided Northerners and Southerners must stay united:
Natalka [10]
President Lincoln uses emotional appeal in his first inagural address. We know this because of some of his word choices:
-The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.
This touches on the heart. This is also called in Latin, Pathos.
Hope this helps! Have a great day!
