Early in the morning, the animals begin the search for food.

Answer:

A. adverb phrase

Explanation:

An adverb phrase is a kind of prepositional phrase that functions as an adverb. Therefore, it answers the questions Where? When? How? or Why? and can modify a verb, an adverb, or an adjective.

In this sentence, the underlined phrase is in the morning. It is an adverb phrase because it modifies the adverb 'early'. It is answering the question "When?"

Read the excerpt from "Why Do Black Women Fear the Fro?” by Cheryl Thompson.
Sladkaya [172]

The phrase affects the tone of the excerpt because:

 • The phrase shows that the author is disheartened by the lack of authentic images.

What is the exact tone of the text?

The disheartening tone of the text suggests that the author is not happy with the way black women were being portrayed. They were losing themselves in the bid to fit in.

The black woman cannot love herself because her true self is hidden. So it is not encouraging to find that all media channels support this act. From the content of the text, we can deduce that the author wants black women to channel their originality and not seek to be accepted by society.

For this to happen, they have to proudly wear their hairstyle and culture and not try to fit into what is accepted by any culture they feel is superior to theirs. So, the current situation is not encouraging.

URGENT!
how having fire made man more like the Gods on Mount Olympus?
Mariulka [41]
Because it gave the humans power and like the gods. Not a mythical power, per se, but one that made the gods angry. They wanted to be superior to the humans and didn’t want humans to have any power, I don’t think. Hope this helps!
