English

Your thesis statement is just a clear introduction line about the content of your essay. If the subject is, for example, the causes of the american revolutionary war, the thesis will state three or so causes. For example: The American Revolution was justified because The British imposed heavy taxes on American Colonists, Colonists had no political representation to the King of England, and an Island nation should not govern a continent over a thousand miles away.

Vilka [71]

Answer:

Portia's opening line describes mercy is forgiving, generous and godlike quality.

Explanation:

  • She conveys the idea that mercy is a tender and noble feeling, and mercy must come directly from one's heart.
  • It blesses those who show mercy, which not only makes them feel good, but also brings heavenly rewards.
  • When someone wants to exact revenge, but opts for mercy, he displays divine,God-like attributes.
