The Kansas-Nebraska Act? It allowed slavery where the Missouri Compromise had banned it. It permitted the practice of slavery in all US territories. Southerners favored expanding the transcontinental railroad.

I agree with this proclamation because the natives were there first so it’d be wrong of the colonists to just take over. But they ended up moving west anyway. But I understand how it can be unfair for the colonists since they want to move west to build homes and find resources that weren’t available before. This whole question is based on your own opinion
