Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

Gabriella expects to earn $50 in tips during her shift as a waitress today.

In addition to tips, she earns $8.00 an hour.

i.e. she gets $50 as tip and extra $8 for each hour

i.e. if she works for 1 hour she gets $(50+8)

If she works for 2 hour extra she gets $(50+8+8)

Hence, Let she works minimum for x hours to get $114

i.e. 50+8x=114

Subtracting both sides by 50,we get

8x=64

Dividing both sides by 8, we get

x=8

Hence, Gabriella has to work for minimum 8 hours to get $114 tip.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

7 friends have a similar cell phone plans. The price of each plan is $x. This means that the basic cost of all the plans is $x. The total basic cost for the 7 plans would be

7 × x = $7x

3 of 7 friends pay an extra $4 per month for unlimited text messaging. The total amount paid by the 3 friends would be

3 × 4 = $12

Therefore, the total cost for the 7 plans would be

7x + 12

tino4ka555 [31]
If you would like to find the average of 132 1/2 and 137 2/3, you can calculate this using the following steps:

<span>132 1/2 = 265/2
137 2/3 = 413/3
</span>
132 1/2 + 137 2/3 = 265/2 + 413/3 = 795/6 + 826/6 = 1621/6
<span>1621/6 / 2 = 1621/12 = 135 1/12
</span>
The correct result would be <span>135 1/12.</span>
