One mostly negative effect of urbanization was the establishment of
lora16 [44]

Answer

One most negative effect of urbanization was the establishment of slums

Explanations

Urbanization is a process by which large populations relocate from rural areas to urban areas that enables cities and towns to grow. This progressive increase of people staying in towns and cities has both positive and negative effects. One most negative effect is the development of slums because of high cost of living in urban centers. Due to random growth  and high levels of employment in the cities, there is development of unlawful settlement that is composed of slums and squatters. The development of slums in urban centers is an indication of fast-paced industrialization, inadequate land for housing , high number of people relocating to towns in search of better life and increased land prices beyond the affordable levels of the urban poor.
