The density of certain species in a specific location greatly affects the quality of life. This is because, it is inevitable that among similar species which consumes the same food and have the same necessities, competition will always be present. 

For a location with higher density of organisms, there can be scarcity of goods and services. 

However, if dissimilar organisms live in a certain location together, they may be able to help each other in the processes or functions that a certain group may not be able to perform.
