An art media is a material used by an artist to draw. There are three types of media: dry, liquid and mixed media. Examples of dry media are pencil, metal point, charcoal and crayon. Examples of liquid media are marker, pen and ink. Examples of mixed media are combination of ink and paint in a canvas work and combination of ink and water colour.
