See the attached figure

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

I'll assume you need to get the graph of the following linear function:

-4x-5y=-5

So if you multiply all the equation by -1 you will get:

4x+5y=5

With two points we can graph the line of this equation, so:

\bullet \ For \ x=0, \ then: \\ \\ (0)+5y=5 \\ \\ Solving \ for \ y: \\ \\ y=\frac{5}{5} \\ \\ y=1 \\ \\ Point: \ (0,1) \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ For \ y=0, \ then: \\ \\ 4x+5(0)=5 \\ \\ Solving \ for \ x: \\ \\ 4x=5 \\ \\ x=\frac{5}{4} \\ \\ Point: \ (5/4,0) \\ \\ \\ So \ our \ line \ passes \ through: \\ \\ (5,0) \ and \ (5/4,0)

By using graphing tool we get the graph shown below.

Kyle is making a frame for a rectangular piece of art. The length of the frame is 3 times the width, as shown below. A rectangle
iris [78.8K]
Answer: 2.25

Explanation:

Let the width be x
Length = 3x

Perimeter of frame = 18
2(l + w) = 18
2(3x + x) = 18
2(4x) = 18
8x = 18
x = 18/8
x = 2.25 feet

PLEASE HELP ASAP! DUE SOON PLEASE SHOW YOUR WORK
viktelen [127]

Answer:

So for the first one the first ting u have to do is FLIP the equation so---> X-12=y

Then you have to add 12 to BOTH sides----> x-12+12=y+12

<u><em>So your answer for X ----> x=y+12</em></u>

<u><em>For Y on the first equation it is--->y=x-12</em></u>      (Just flipped and the sign changed)

For the second equation we are gonna solve for Y first.

The first thing u want to do is divide both sides by -3 so it will look like this

-3y/-3    =   2x/+36/-3

<u><em>So Y will equal-----> -2/3x- 12</em></u>

Now we are going to do the X part

So fist FLIP the equation---->      2x+36=  -3y

The add -36 to both sides-----> 2x+36+-36=-3y+-36

Last step you have to divide both sides by 2

So that would be----> 2x/2= -3y-3

<u><em>Your final result will be----> x=-3/2y-18</em></u>

I hope this helped you out (:::::::

Yes!

B. Both pairs of opposite angles are congruent.

A. Not A. The sides are not marked the angles are.

C. Not C. That would make a parallelogram. One of the conditions (sides) is not given.

D. Not D. Not given. It would make a parallelogram if that was what was given, but it is not.

The figure shown is a rectangular prism. Which edges are parallel to HK ?
kolezko [41]

Line HK is the line of intersection between pllanes AMKH and HKDY.

Consider all given options:

1. Line PB is the line of intersection between pllanes APBM and PBDY. Since planes APBM || HKDY and AMKH || PBDY, then lines PB and HK are parallel.

2. Line AM is the line of intersection between pllanes APBM and AMKH. Since planes APBM || HKDY and parallel planes are cut by plane AMKH, then lines AM and HK are parallel.

3.  Line YD is the line of intersection between pllanes HKDY and AMKH. Since planes AMKH || PBDY and parallel planes are cut by plane HKDY, then lines YD and HK are parallel.

4. Lines HA and HK intersect each other at point H, thus they are not parallel.

5. Lines BM and HK  are not parallel, because MB || DK and DK intersect HK at point K.

Answer: correct choices are A, B, C.
