Oh the great Gatsby story! How wonderful, i haven`t answered one of these in a while! Hoped i helped. I came up with as much as i could!

As The Great Gatsby opens, Nick Carraway (The story`s main narrator) he remembers his upbrining and the lessons his family taught him in the past. Readers learn of his past, may it be dark or horrorifc. His education, and his sense of moral justice, he then begins to unfold the story of Jay Gatsby. The narration takes places more then a year after the incidents described. So nick is then working through the filters of mermory relaying the story`s events. Hoped this helped!
