What are some of the character traits that great leaders have in common? What are some historical or modern figures that you con
jonny [76]

Answer:

1. A Positive Attitude

Great leaders know that they won’t have a happy and motivated team unless they themselves exhibit a positive attitude. This can be done by remaining positive when things go wrong and by creating a relaxed and happy atmosphere in the workplace.

Even some simple things like providing snacks or organizing a team Happy Hour can make a world of difference. An added perk is that team members are likely to work harder and do overtime when needed if they’re happy and appreciated.

2. Confidence

All great leaders have to exhibit an air of confidence if they’re going to succeed. Please don’t confuse this with self-satisfaction and arrogance. You want people to look up to you for inspiration, not so they can punch you in the face.

Confidence is important because people will be looking to you on how to behave, particularly if things aren’t going 100% right. If you remain calm and poised, team members are far more likely to as well. As a result, morale and productivity will remain high, and the problem will be solved more quickly.

3. A Sense of Humor

It’s imperative for any kind of leader to have a sense of humor, particularly when things go wrong. And they will.

Your team members are going to be looking to you for how to react in a seemingly dire situation. It would probably be best if you weren’t stringing up a noose for yourself in the corner. You need to be able to laugh things off because if staff morale goes down, so will productivity.

4. Ability to Embrace Failure

No matter how hard you try to avoid it, failures will happen; that’s okay. You just need to know how to deal with them.

Great leaders take them in strides. They remain calm and logically think through the situation and utilize their resources. What they don’t do is fall apart and reveal to their team how worried they are, which leads to negative morale, fear, and binge-drinking under desks.

5. Careful Listening and Feedback

This is far more complex than it actually sounds. Good communication skills are essential for a great leader. You may very well understand the cave of crazy that is your brain, but that doesn’t mean that you can adequately take the ideas out of it and explain them to someone else.

Write an argumentative essay for or against always telling the truth, even in situations that may be hurtful to others.
Likurg_2 [28]

It can be difficult to tell the truth. You might feel compelled to tell a white lie to spare someone's feelings. Although the truth may be painful, it is best to be honest about something you've been holding back. Here are a few reasons why telling the truth, even if it hurts others, is so necessary.

Since keeping things bottled up would destroy a friendship.

Relationships are built on the foundations of confidence and integrity. If you're lying or concealing information from your significant other, the truth will sting even more. Coming clean as soon as possible will help to alleviate the pain and encourage your partner to work things out.

And if you don't, you'll be angry for the rest of your life.

You'll start blaming yourself and despise yourself. The shame of keeping a secret from someone you care about will begin to eat away at your mind, making you feel terrible on the inside, and you may be able to release this pent-up tension through rage and frustration. Not only will telling the truth be better for your mate, but it will also be better for your sanity.

And without the facts, there can be no true communication.

In a relationship, it's important to be truthful. How would you be able to interact effectively with one another if you're lying to them? Telling the truth would show your significant other that you will always be truthful with them, even though you make mistakes. This will aid in the development of confidence in the relationship.

Since overcoming adversity is the bedrock of any partnership.

Relationships that last a long time aren't necessarily happy ones. Tough times are an inevitable part of any relationship, and lying just makes them worse. There is no such thing as a perfect partnership, and both you and your partner must accept this. Being in a relationship necessitates dealing with difficult circumstances in a reasonable and productive way that benefits both of you. By lying or concealing information, you are only avoiding and exacerbating the issue.

And if you're still hanging on, you won't be able to let go and move on.

If you don't say the truth, you're just prolonging the healing process. You and your partner must find out how to deal with this situation in a way that is mutually beneficial. There is no way to begin the healing process if you are not honest. Be frank with yourself; it will benefit both of you in the long run.

podryga [215]

Sinclair's purpose in writing the piece was to show the reader the awful working conditions of the immigrants.

What is Narration?

This is known to be the use of spoken words to convey a story.

Hence we can see that Sinclair tries to awaken the reader to the terrible living conditions of immigrants moving in. Although this was Sinclair's intent, the book actually ended up bringing awareness to the ways the food was being produced.
