Albrecht Durer was a German painter that is known as the greatest German Renaissance artist and as “the Leonardo of the North”. He went to Italy around 1495 where he was very influenced by Italian Art. He has many works that are adaptations of Italian models and also independent, but all of them are very much inspired by the Italian Renaissance movement.
The glorious revolution of 1688 in Britain had given more
power to the House of Commons in parliament and to King William II and
Queen Mary II. The combination of the power from the parliament and the King and
Queen made the platforms of the government more credible and reliable.
