Which adjectives go before the nouns in French? Give specific examples.

Placed before the noun: 
1) Generally, if the adjective is shorter than the noun or as long as the noun, it is placed before it. Ex: Un joli divertissement; un beau garçon; une belle voiture. 
2) The ordinal adjective is always placed before the noun. Ex: Le quinzième siècle. 

Placed after the noun: 
1) The adjective longer than the noun. Ex: un chant traditionnel; un enfant merveilleux. 
2) The adjective that indicates a color or a geometric shape. Ex: Le drapeau blanc; une route droite. 
3) The verbal adjectives. Ex: Un panier garni; une avenue passante.
