How much string would you need to go around of a hat shaped like a cone if the radius is 4 inches? ( Use 3.14 for pi)
Paul [167]
The answer is b. 25.12
because we are finding the amount of rope to go around the circle, we are looking for the circumfrence of the circle, and the formula for the circumfrence of the circle is diameter(pi). because the radius of the circle is 4 inches, the diameter iss 8 inches because the diameter is 2(radius) and using multiplication, we can find the the circumfrence to be 25.12 inches

Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

Juan would need to fill up the 1/4 measuring cup 24 times.

Step-by-step explanation:

So to measure one cup of flour with a 1/4 measuring cup, you would need to fill up the 1/4 measuring cup 4 times. Since we want 6 cups, you would need to fill up the 1/4 measuring cup 24 times. 6 times 4 = 24. Hope this helps!

The simplified form of the function will be (√10 - √10 + √15 - √21 ).

<h3>What is an expression?</h3>

Expression in maths is defined as the collection of the numbers variables and functions by using signs like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

The expression will be calculated as:-

(√2  + √3 ) ( √5 - √7 ) = √2 (√5 + √7 ) + √3 ( √5 - √7 )

                                    = √2√5 + √2√7 + √3√5 - √3√7

                                    = √10 + √14 + √15 - √21

Therefore simplified form of the function will be (√10 - √10 + √15 - √21 ).

Write the ratios for sin C, cos C, and tan C.
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

sin C = 7/25

cos C = 24/25

tan C = 7/24

Step-by-step explanation:

opposite of C = 7

adjacent of C = 24

hypotenuse of C = 25

sin = opposite / hypotenuse

so sin C = 7/25

cos C = adjacent / hypotenuse

so cos C = 24/25

tan = opposite / adjacent

so tan C = 7/24
