 ✧ Ingredients for the spread of a religion [in the form of a "cake"] ✧

    ⋆  3 cups of holy texts [ cake flour], to give the religion it's shape.

    ⋆  1 1/2 cups of places to worship [sugar], so people in the religion are relaxed and know where to go so they can worship.

    ⋆  3 tbsp trade and/or trade routes [butter], to keep the religion [cake] together.

    ⋆ 1 cup of religious leaders [milk/buttermilk], to give the religion some flavor and so the people know who to worship.

    ⋆ 1/2 cup government leaders [vegetable oil], in order for the religion to be protected, safe, and also together at all times.

    ⋆ 3 eggs [pathways/roads/migration], so the people of the religion know what way to go to spread the religion further

    ⋆ 1 tsp conflict [vanilla] to give the religion more flavor because the religious leaders weren't enough sweetness, and also because you can't have a religion without a little conflict.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                                        ✧ Directions for the spread of religion [in the form of a cake recipe] ✧
      ⋆ In a medium bowl, beat [with a mixer] the places to worship [sugar] and trade/trade routes [butter] together until light and fluffy.
      ⋆ Next, add your religious leaders [milk/buttermilk] to that bowl and mix until well combined.
      ⋆ Then, slowly add your holy texts [cake flour] as you're mixing. Make sure it is well combined before moving on to the next step!
      ⋆ In a separate bowl, stir your pathways/roads/migration [eggs] with a fork and add your conflict [vanilla] and mix that.
      ⋆ Add your pathways/roads/migration to your big bowl and then add your government leaders [vegetable oil] and mix all of that until it's well combined
      ⋆ Then add your mixture of religion into a big cake pan.
      ⋆ Bake that cake for 50-55 minutes and when it's done baking, let it cool and then frost it with your favorite religious frosting and you're done!
Hope this helps, sorry if it's confusing! :)
The history of cake dates back to ancient times. The first cakes were very different from what we eat today. They were more bread-like and sweetened with honey. Nuts and dried fruits were often added. According to the food historians, the ancient Egyptians were the first culture to show evidence of advanced baking skills. The Oxford English Dictionary traces the English word cake back to the 13th century. It is a derivation of 'kaka', an Old Norse word. Medieval European bakers often made fruitcakes and gingerbread. These foods could last for many months.
