Air pollution consists of chemicals and particles and is very bad for our atmosphere. Some air pollution comes from natural sources. This could include volcanic eruptions and wild fires. This is not the main issue though. Humans are the cause for most air pollution on Earth. Every day, millions of  tons of pollutants, including carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and tiny solid particles, are pumped in the atmosphere. The main culprits are motor vehicles, industrial emissions, and power plants that burn fossil fuels.
