Sir Christopher Wren is one of the most highly acclaimed English architects in history. His masterpiece is St. Paul's Cathedral, which he rebuilt in a Baroque style. The cathedral was rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666. Moreover, Wren was tasked with rebuilding another 52 churches, as well as several secular buildings. In addition to this, Wren was also an anatomist, astronomer, geometer, mathematician and physicist.
