Answer:

A.) Experience listeners are better able to comprehend accented speech, regardless of the type of accent (Gass & Varonis, 2018).

Explanation:

APA guidelines state that an in-text citation includes the last name of the authors only, this way less space is taken, and it's still easy to understand. Other than that the year of publication also has to be included, for further clarity, separated with a comma since is a different piece of information.

“Harlem” by Langston Hughes describes the oppression of African Americans back then. Major themes in it included delay, sadness, and dreams.
I don’t know what you view the American identity as so I’ll give you a few questions about your perspective that you can fill in. What do you view yourself as? Do you identify as an American or would you call yourself something else. What culture do you belong in?
Finally, to summarize state what your identify has in-common to Langston Hughes poem. One thing you could do is say you also pursue your dreams in hope of it successfully occurring.

Help!!!!!!!!!! urgently
Margaret [11]

The answer would be C.

Since this isn't a flashback, first person, or doesn't lead to anything stressful.

It uses a lot of different words to add on the the terror of the "Death swamp," such as ooze, desperate, hopeless, or even viciously.

alex41 [277]

Answer:

B. Cause and effect

Explanation:

The given paragraph is structured as a cause and effect paragraph. This type of paragraph explains why something happens. The occurrence that takes place is defined as the effect and the thing that causes it is the cause.

Here, we have two groups of students who perceived the same lecture in two completely different ways. This is the effect. What caused this is the way the lecturer was introduced. The students' expectations (cause) affected their opinion on the lecture, the final result (effect).

What is "dearer to brutus than life itself"? how does cassius use this to his advantage?
Drupady [299]
Honour is dearer to Brutus than life itself. And that is what Cassius reiterates, with the goal of attracting Brutus to his own cause (of betraying and getting rid of Caesar). Cassius masterfully manipulates Brutus. First, he tells him that he is honourable. And then, he holds him by that honour, because honourable people should act that way. Furthermore, he tells Brutus that the Romans would be eager to have someone like that as their leader. So, Cassius first feeds Brutus's ego, and then starts provoking his greed.
