Around 14% of women have .................................... one year after giving birth.
This type of penetration disorder is called dyspareunia. This type of disorder usually has a physical cause, such as injury to the vagina during child birth. Psychological factors such as over anxiety and relationship problems may also cause this type of disorder.

Around nineteen percent of women have severe vaginal or pelvic pain during sexual intercourse for up to one year after giving birth.

Further Explanation:

Internally the reproductive system of females includes the fallopian tubes, ovaries, uterus, vagina and cervix. Ovaries are two very small organs that produce ovum or egg and hormones. Two fallopian tubes lengthen by the ovaries to uterus. The fallopian tube helps in transporting the fully matured eggs to the womb or uterus.

Uterus is an organ which is appearing as pear-shaped. During pregnancy baby grows in the uterus. The membranes of uterus go through many cycles to make easy pregnancy. The vagina and uterus both are joined to each other by an opening is called cervix. The structure that extends to outside of a body is called vagina. The female pelvis comprises more rounded and broader of pelvic outlet and inlet. This structure let the fetus to expel out from this opening during childbirth.

Mainly sexually transmitted infection can develop pelvic pain in women while having involve in sexual intercourse. The pelvic pain is an indication of existence of a sexually transmitted infection like Chlamydia or gonorrhea. An injury in pelvic or vaginal ligament during child birth can cause pain during sexual intercourse.

Carbon chains are principal features of both carbohydrates and lipids.what is the primary difference between these two types of
solong [7]
While both carbohydrates and lipids are made up of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen there are several differences:

1. Carbohydrates are chains of 2 or more carbon atoms.  These can be very lengthy (like long cellulose chains of glucose units). They have many polar OH groups (e.g. glucose - C6H6O6). Most carbohydrates are hydrophilic and are soluble in water because of their polar OH groups. They are not necessarily sugars nor are they necessarily sweet. They are also important components of DNA, RNA and ATP.

2. Lipids are more diverse in their chemistry. They generally have a polar region at one end (this end attracts water) and a large non polar hydrocarbon region that repels water. Lipids don't dissolve in water and instead clump together with their hydrocarbon regions on the interior. Lipids include oils, fatty acids, waxes, steroids and hormones.

What is the determining factor for the transcription of structural genes of the trp operon?
padilas [110]

The right answer is 3. the availability of tryptophan in the environment

The TRP operon regulation depends on the availability of the tryptophan molecule (it depends if the cell need tryptophan or already has it).

There are two modes of regulation of the trp operon: Suppression and Mitigation

*Repression

The synthesis of operon mRNA is controlled by a repressor that blocks transcription when bound by tryptophan, which acts as a co-repressor.

The repressor, a 108 aa homodimer (ie 2 apo-repressor), has helix-turn-helix domains that interact with inverted repeats at the major groove of the operator, thus allowing its fixation.

In the absence of trp, the repressor is inactive and does not attach to the operator. The RNA polymerase can bind to the promoter and transcribe the trp E, D, C, B, A structural genes.

In the presence of trp, the repressor changes conformation and becomes active, so it binds to the operator, preventing RNA polymerase from accessing the promoter so transcription will not occur.

* The Attenuation

This is a premature termination of transcription that is a function of Trp concentration. It takes place at a late moment of transcription while regulation by repression is done during the initiation.

1st Case: Low Trp Rate, Continuous Transcription, → Formation of the Anti-attenuator in the absence of trp, and therefore the synthesis of tryptophan is continued.

2nd case: High rate of trp, stop transcription, → Formation of the attenuator in the presence of trp. This one will attenuate the synthesis of tryptophan.

What differentiates anthropocentric and biocentric views of the environment?
Dafna11 [192]
If we were to differentiate anthroprocentric and biocentric views of the environment you could say that anthroprocentric is more holistic than biocentric. They consider the importance of the environment to human beings. Biocentric sees humans as an individual part of the environment.

Also Biocentric views tend to focus more on biotic factors (living things) and anthroprocentric veer towards the abiotic factors (non-living things).
