One of the best projects of the BBC is called “A History of the World in 100 Objects”. It was a radio production with the help of the British Museum. The Project consisted of a 100-part radio programs. The author was Neil McGregor, Director of the British Museum  

Each show was a 15-minute broadcast where MacGregor presented ancient objects of the museum's collections. McGregor wrote a book to support the radio programs. It was published in October 2010.
