How might have BRAT and the Treaty of Versailles have caused World War II?
Kisachek [45]
Germany was a main reason for why WW1 was so deadly but they did not start the war. The treaty of Versailles put Germany in a massive debt and their national pride shattered. The Nazis gave the German people a scapegoat for their problems, Hitler also blamed the allied powers for enforcing such strict punishments for a war they didn’t start. Broken and shattered, in debt and struggling to live, Germany and the German people turned to the Nazis who promised them to make Germany great once more.

satela [25.4K]
Imperialism means to expand a county's power by political or military means, and the big stick proverb means that one should be non aggressive but hold the power to be violent, just like 'an iron fist under a velvet glove'. Imperialistic America after the spanish american war, america annexed the Philippines because imperialists believed it would be an ideal port and military base. Puerto Rico was also made an american territory, and though Cuba was 'free' its government was still basically controlled by America. These were all expansions made to make America larger and more powerful even though imperialism led to consistent involvement in foreign affairs.

According to the Supreme Court of the United States, what "intangible" factors play a role in whether school facilities are truly
Setler [38]

Answer:

The "intangible factors" that help to perpetuate inequality were tied to the role that education plays in forming students to be successful and fully participatory in our society. The separate but equal idea of segregated schools denied black children the same opportunities and level of inclusion.

Explanation:

One of the most famous Supreme Court rulings in the United States was the Brown v. Board of Education decision that was authored by Chief Justice Earl Warren. In the decision, Justice Warren stated there were tangible aspects that were equal between segregated schools, like teacher salary and the infrastructure, but that there was a whole intangible dimension to the practice of segregation that denied African American students the same values and cultural environment because separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.
