The preamble to the Declaration of Independence outlet to principles upon which the new government would be best which of these
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

A government based on a social contract, is the right answer.

Explanation:

The Second Continental Congress adopted the pronouncement "the Declaration of Independence" during its conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 4th June 1776. Under this declaration, the thirteen colonies of America had to explain why do they regard themselves as a sovereign state.

The thirteen colonies of America in the Declaration of Independence rejected the very idea of the divine right of rule and based their bid for independence on the Social contract theory of John Locke. John Locke in his "Second Treatise of Government" argued that the laws and political orders are the product of humans and are not natural. He also stated that people are born with some natural rights that the government or anyone can't take away. Therefore, these ideas of natural rights were adopted by the authors of the Declaration of Independence.

In 1846, most Americans supported a war with Mexico hoping that it would settle boundary disputes and increase the United States
Naddik [55]

Answer:

B. They did not want slavery to extend to new areas of the United States.

Explanation:

The abolitionists didn't want to support the Mexican-American War because they did not want another slave state, in this case, Texas. War was always supported by both sides.

They thought in another slave state like political instability in the United States, but they thought that there were more benefits about the war, and Texas was become in the 28° state of the United States and also in another state slave.

What are things that were/are taught in other countries, that American school systems adopted?
bekas [8.4K]

There are many differences between schools all around the world. In America we are graded on a scale from 1-100, but in mexico they are graded on a scale from 1-10. There are some all boys or all girls schools in america but in iran boys and girls go to separate schools. Giving a the thumbs up means that the student is doing pretty good in many countries (U.S., Australia, Russia, Finland, Egypt, and Israel); however, the same response in Bangladesh, Iran, or Thailand might mean a trip to the principal’s office. While students in America do have a lot of homework per week (about 6 hours), school children in Russia have the most homework per week (nearly 10 hours) and also the highest literacy rate in the world. There are a lot of differences between schools all around the world, but that's what makes them all unique.

The primary issue that created tension between FDR and southern democrats was that many of FDR's policies were spending tax money on poor black people, which many racist people in the South opposed.
