Answer: Activities that involve thinking, organizing, and understanding

Explanation:

People with Investigating type can be seen as the thinkers, hence why they are the most logical out of the 6 personality job fit theory. They tend to enjoy working alone or with people who are sensible and well balanced rather than with a group of people. They are not proficient in trying to reach an agreement or compromise by discussion. However, they also enjoy studying, solving and finding out concepts that could be mathematically or scientifically inclined.

Answer:

With reference to John Holland's personality-job fit theory, people belonging to the investigating type prefer physical activities that allow creative expression activities that involve thinking, organizing, and understanding activities.

Explanation:

John Holland's Theory of Career Choice is based on the premise  that  in the process of choosing a career, people prefer jobs where they can be around others who are like them . They rather search for environments that will allow them use their skills and abilities, and express their attitudes and values, while taking on enjoyable problems and roles.

John Holland’s theory is centered on the notion that most people fit into one of six personality types, these are: Realistic , Investigative , Artistic , Social , Enterprising  and Conventional.

According to him, the Investigative (Thinkers)  are those people that prefer to work with "data". They prefer to "think and observe rather than act; to organize and understand information rather than to persuade". Additionally, the investigative people prefer "individual rather than people oriented activities".

Some of the sample majors and careers include:

Archivist/Librarian (with Social and Conventional)

Bio-statistics/Masters in Public Health (with Conventional)

These are good ways for the service provider to address the intangibility characteristic of services.
When something is intangible, it means it can not be touched. When a customer receives a dog that was well groomed, and happy with the service that can not be passed directly on to another client. The testimonials help a potential customer see what they could get out of the service for their animal, though it can't be "touched".

The basic principle used to value an asset acquired in a nonmonetary exchange is to value it at: A) Fair value of the asset(s) g
Advocard [28]

Answer: A) Fair value of the asset(s) given up.

Explanation:

Non-monetary exchange occurs when non-financial assets are exchanged in a transaction. Recording this transaction is based on the fair value of the assets exchanged and the recording is usually done in one of 3 ways being,

1. At the fair value of the asset transferred in exchange for it with a gain or loss on the exchange being recorded.

2. At the fair value of the asset received, if the fair value of this asset is more evident than the fair value of the asset transferred in exchange for it.

3. At the recorded amount of the surrendered asset, if no fair values are determinable or the transaction has no commercial substance.

In the production of televisions, the marginal rate of technical substitution of hours of labor for hours of capital is 0.8, and
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

Option (c) 8

Explanation:

Data provided in the question:

Marginal rate of technical substitution of hours of labor for hours of capital, RTS = 0.8

Number of units of labor chosen = 5

Number of units of capital chosen = 8

Marginal product of capital = 10 televisions per hour

Now,

RTS = [ Marginal product of labor ] ÷ [ Marginal product of capital  ]

0.8 = Marginal product of labor ÷ 10

or

Marginal product of labor = 8

Hence,

Option (c) 8

A 10 year 7% municipal bond, quoted on a 5.00 basis, is priced at 104. A 10 year 6% municipal bond, quoted on a 5.00 basis, is p
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

D. 102.2

Explanation:

Using a simultaneous equation

Since the year is constant

We will use the the basis and municipal bond as our variables

So equation 1 = 7x+5y=104

Eqn ii= 6x + 5y= 101

Using eliminating method

X=3

Substitute for x in equation 1 to get the value of y

7(3) + 5y=104

5y=104-21

Y=16.6

To get the price for the percent of 6.40 at 5% basis substitute for the value of X and Y respectively in the both equation

6.4x+5y=?

6.4(3) + 5(16.6)=

19.2+83=102.2
