The reason why the Treaty of Versailles was responsible for WW2 because in brought same to Germany. In the Treaty of Versailles the terms were Germany brings its Army to 1,000 men, Germany has to pay for all the damage in the war, and Germany accepts the blame and shame of the war. One of the quotes from the Treaty where "Germany [to] accept the responsibility of Germany and her allies for causing all the loss and damage". When people heard this they where outright mad. A german Nationalist recovering in the hospital after an injury in the trenches ,Hitler, was mad.

This brought the end of the German Empire and Brought a start to the Weimar Republic. The first thing that the new parliamentary government did to pay off their huge debt was to print out money. But unfortunately as we all know that does not pay off debts but make money less valuable. thanks to this one American dollar was worth over 1,000,000 Reichsmark ,making the currency worthless. People were poor thanks to this and wanted change. Then Hitler came up and said he can change everything. People were desperate so they voted him Counselor.
