Self Disclosure

Proper self-disclosure is an indication of one's mental health. Where one important aspect of social skills is self-disclosure. Self-disclosure must be based on honesty and openness in providing information, or in other words what is conveyed to others should not be a personal mask or a lie that only shows the good side.

Descriptive self-disclosure is someone describing various facts about themselves that the listener may not know, such as work, residence, and so on. Evaluative self-disclosure is someone expressing their personal opinions or feelings, such as feeling like certain people, feeling anxious because they are too fat, do not like to get up early, and so on.

The purpose of expressing yourself:

Expressing feelings is one reason for self-disclosure.

By seeing how the listener reacts to self-disclosure, the individual gets information about the truth and accuracy of his views.

Individuals may reveal or hide information about themselves, the same as the meaning of social control. Individuals may suppress topics, beliefs or ideas that will form a good message to the listener.

If a coleader has a tendency to be sharp, short, and sarcastic in his interactions with members:
Natalka [10]

If a coleader has a tendency to be sharp, short, and sarcastic in his interactions with members "they are probably going to rapidly detect his absence of regard for them and end up closed or defensive".

In the case that you are co-leading a gathering, you and your partner have sufficient chances to demonstrate a social style that will advance trust. On the off chance that you two function harmoniously with an unconstrained give and take, for instance, individuals will feel more confiding and trusting when you are present.
