Texas is a state located in the southern center of the United States. It limits to the north with Oklahoma, to the northeast with Arkansas, to the east with Louisiana, to the southeast with the Gulf of Mexico, to the southwest with Mexico and to the west with the state of New Mexico.
Useful satellite data concerning sea ice began in late 1978 with the launch of NASA's Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer (SMMR) satellite.
OK so basically the state would be new mexico it is the southernmost state.
