How to find measurement of arc with only one angle measure?

Mathematics

That depends upon what type of measurement you are looking for and what kind of an angle you are given. If you are looking for the measure of the arc in degrees AND the angle is a central angle, then the degree measure of the arc is the same as the degree measure of the central angle. If you are looking for the measure of the arc in degrees AND the angle you are given is inscribed, then the arc is double the degrees of the inscribed angle. If you are looking for the measure of the arc in units like inches or feet or meters, there is a formula for that:

arc length=\frac{\theta}{360}*2\pi   r

where the angle theta is the degree measure of the central angle, and r is the radius of the circle. You have to know the radius to use this formula if what you are looking for is the arc length. If you don't know the radius this formula will be useless to you since you can't solve an equation with more than one unknown. Those are the ones you probably need to be most concerned with.

Answer:

Answer:

x= 1/3 or x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

3x2−13x+4=0

Step 1: Factor left side of equation.

(3x−1)(x−4)=0

Step 2: Set factors equal to 0.

3x−1=0 or x−4=0

x= 1/3or x=4

A printer can print 27 pages in 4.5 min. How much time does it need to print 324 pages?
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

54 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

We can write a proportion to solve this problem.  Put the number of pages over the minutes

27 pages           324 pages

--------------    = ---------------

4.5 minutes         x minutes

Using cross products

27 * x = 324 * 4.5

27x = 1458

Divide each side by 27

27x/27 = 1458/27

x =54

PLEASE HELO ME AND EXPLAIN PLEASE. AND PLEASE SHOW IN STEPS!! i will mark brainliest if you get it correct!
Dimas [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of the swipe card is given by :

h(t)=-3t^2+15t+18 .....(1)

We need to find the maximum height of the swipe card and the time to reach the maximum height.

For maximum height, put dh/dt = 0

So,

\dfrac{d}{dt}(-3t^2+15t+18)=0\\\\-9t+15=0\\\\t=\dfrac{15}{9}\\\\t=1.67\ s

It will take 1.67 seconds to reach the maximum height.

Now, put t = 1.67 s in equation (1).

h(1.67)=-3(1.67)^2+15(1.67)+18\\\\=34.68\ feet

Hence, the maximum height of the swipe card is 34.68 feet and the time to reach this height is 1.67 s.

If you have a decimal you would move it to the right two numbers like .56 to 56. percent or you have a fraction you would put a decimal like 4/5 to 4/5.= 80.percent.
