Which description is an example of direct characterization? He slurped his soup and gulped his milk, then wiped his face on his

sleeve and burped. He gazed at the sprawling buffet and thought that he had never seen so much food in one place. He beckoned the waitress and said through a mouthful, “Can I get more butter for these rolls?” He was rude, shuffling to the front of the buffet line and elbowing customers out of his way.

The answer is the last option, or option D.
He was rude, shuffling to the front of the buffet line and elbowing customers out of his way.

Direct Characterization is when the author tells you about the character,  it occurs when character traits are revealed.Like saying,"She was a shy girl." There is a clear trait being represented.

Try to think of a disagreement or agreement you've EVER had with a family member. Even if you are exaggeration or making a bit of it up I believe it to be fine. Write about something simple like disagreement over the last cookie or bed time.
