The way you solve a is look at the letters on the top that tells you that it's going to be a double digit number and the bottom would be a single number. And then whatever the number is on the top and the bottom you divide the top by the bottom and you get your answer

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE LITTLE QUESTION
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

y = -x +2

Step-by-step explanation:

First let's find the slope.

(-1,3) and (4,-2)

3 - -2/ -1 - 4 = 5/-5 = -1

Slope = -1

Now let's use slope intercept form:

y1-y2=m(x1-x2)

Let's plug in our slope for m.

y1-y2= -1 (x1-x2)

And now let's substitute y2 and x2 for one of our points, I'll use (4,-2)

y1+2 = -1(x1- 4)

y= -x + 4 -2

y = -x +2

The taxi fare in Las Vegas is $3.50 for the first mile, and $2 for each additional mile after the first. If you have $29.50, how
forsale [732]

Answeryou'll be able to ride 14 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

Your price is 29.50. if the first mile is 3.50 you'll subtract that from the 29.50 you originally had. Now you're left with 26.00. If you divide that by the two dollars you pay for every next mile you'll have 13 miles. Now add that first mile and you have 14. Hopefully  this made sense!

Consider a pattern that begins with 9 and each consecutive number is twice the previous term. What are the first four terms of t
ahrayia [7]

"Twice the previous term" means the previous term is multiplied by 2 to get the present term. In other words, the next term is 2 times the present term.

The first term is 9 (given).

The second term is 2×9 = 18.

The third term is 2×18 = 36.

You can figure the 4th term, but there is no need. This is sufficient to identify the correct answer as ...

Assume that adults have IQ scores that are normally distributed with a mean of 101.3 and a standard deviation 19.9. Find the fir
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

87.9

Step-by-step explanation:

Use a calculator or table to find the z-score that corresponds to 25%.

P(Z < z) = 0.25

z = -0.675

Now find the value that corresponds to that z score.

z = (x − μ) / σ

-0.675 = (x − 101.3) / 19.9

x = 87.9
