 The formula for value of an investment with periodic deposits is:
 A = M((1 + i/q)^(nq) - 1)(q/i)
 where
 A = value
 M = amount of deposit per period
 i = interest rate
 q = number of periods per year
 n = number of years

 Let's assume one period per year to simplify, giving
 A = M((1 + i)^(n) - 1)(1/i)
 A = M((1 + i)^(n) - 1)/i

 Now solve for M, then substitute the known values and calculate:
 A = M((1 + i)^(n) - 1)/i
 Ai = M((1 + i)^(n) - 1)
 Ai/((1 + i)^(n) - 1) = M

 75000 * 0.05/ ((1 + 0.05)^(10) - 1) = M
 3750/ (1.05^10 - 1) = M
 3750/ (1.628894627 - 1) = M
 3750/ 0.628894627 = M
 5962.843122 = M

 So the amount Jake's parents need to deposit each year is $5962.85

Assume you are participating in your employer's direct deposit program. On payday, the employer deposits your ________ into you
Bogdan [553]
Revised and detailed edition.

A direct deposit program is a program that allows for the automatic deposit of your net earnings into the bank of your choice, so with this in mind one may deduce that your paycheck was deposited into your account. nowhere in this phrasing was it stated that you are the boss/owner so you are not depositing the net earnings (which is the total value of a business's income minus cost of goods, expenses, and taxes for an accounting period.) and the purpose of a direct deposit is essentially to cut out handing you a paycheck and having you go down to your bank and cashing/depositing it into your account. once again this leads me to believe the answer is PAYCHECK. If my reasoning is off, or not detailed enough please leave a comment and to the best of my abilities i will converse and elaborate with you in more lucid terms and further detail.

In a job order costing system, the costs of producing each job are accumulated on a separate job cost sheet.

Explanation:

A job cost sheet is used in a job order costing system to record all manufacturing costs related to each job. The costs that are recorded in the job cost sheet include direct material, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.  Since these job costs are traceable to their respective jobs, the actual direct material and labor costs are used.
