It is true that repetition is when the speakers emphasize significant ideas by repeating key words or phrases so that the audience could listen to it. Listening is difficult because it requires people to pay attention to the person they are listening to. With all the different distractions we have nowadays, listening is very hard because we need to give our time, effort and be genuine at the same time when a person is talking. To listen is a form of respect. We have two ears and a mouth and one of the reasons is that we need to listen more instead of talking. In listening, this is where we challenged ourselves to be more open to ideas. However if repetition is overdo, then it could be annoying.

In an effective evaluation, which element would follow this statement?
belka [17]

Answer:

The element that would follow this statement is "text evidence from Niemand's argument"

Explanation:

The question is not complete since it does not provide the complete information, here is the complete information:

Read this passage from Giovanna's evaluation of an argument claiming that climate change is not affected by human

activity.

Niemand's article on climate change in the editorial section of today's newspaper offers a weak argument. His reasoning

consists of little more than unsubstantiated assertions that climate change is not affected by human activity.

In an effective evaluation, which element would follow this statement?

a. a summary of Niemand's claim

b. text evidence from Niemand's argument

c. a restatement of Giovanna's evaluation

d. the name and source of Niemand's article

The process of making an evaluation of an argument as Giovanna is doing with this lines has to support the idea with reliable evidence as to the next part of the information, this makes option B the best answer to describe what is the next step for Giovanna's evaluation as she will present the evidence to deny the counterclaims.
