De las Casas believed that the Spanish conquistadors were mistreating the Native Americans, and his 'A Short Account of the Destruction of the Indies' exposed the terrible things the Spanish had been doing in the Americas. This paper caused quite a stir in Europe, as no one had known what the conquistadors had been doing, and as a result, laws were passed to help the natives. I hope that this is the answer that you were looking for and it has helped you.

Why did JFK not have a mandate for his proposal
Sloan [31]

Answer: Because a conservative coalition of Republicans and Southern Democrats blocked many of Kennedy's measures

Explanation: John Fitzgerald Kennedy often referred to by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th president of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. He served at the height of the Cold War, and the majority of his work as president concerned relations with the Soviet Union and Cuba.

In terms of domestic legislation however, Kennedy's record was less successful, as Congress repeatedly blocked his policy proposals. Some of the reform proposals Kennedy made that were rejected by a conservative Congress include,

medical care for the aged; rebuilding of blighted urban areas as well as federal aid for education.

krek1111 [17]

Answer:

The Soviet soldiers returning home after the war and the biggest fear of Stalin related to them is described below in detail.

Explanation:

Overview. Throughout and after World War two released POWs moved to distinctive "filtration camps" controlled by the NKVD. Of these, by 1945, more than 93% were cleared, and about 7% were detained or condemned to labor in retributive battalions. In 1944, they were sent immediately to reserve military establishments to be relieved by the NKVD.
