Literary and visual arts generally refers to books, paintings, photographs, pictures, drawings, etc. While Performing Arts refers theater, music, magic, oral presentations, etc. Literary/Visual arts are more of a "constant" while Performing Arts are generally "time limited." Example of this would be a book versus a play. Performing Arts, in using living beings to "perform," act, speak, interact, sing, etc, allows it to elicit more emotion, feeling and opinion better than Literary and Visual Arts from the audience.

At the end of the passage, Rose concludes, “There’s something very back and forth about my relationship to my habit.” Explain wh
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

Rose, from the description given in "My Habits", appears to have symptoms of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

Her parents know this, but her brother Joey doesn't. Rose is aware of her habit, but she is not aware that it's a psychological condition.

At the end of the story, she states that there is something that makes her oscillate between wanting to give up and wanting to retain the habit. She does not like the habit very much because it makes other people uncomfortable around her and as such she has little or no friends.

The only person who does not mind is her friend Susanna. She does not want to lose that friendship as she feels that her habit is the reason she and Susanna are friends and that if she loses the habit, she may lose her friendship with Susanna as well.

Cheers

IRINA_888 [86]

Answer: The artistic value is lost because it disappears the subjectivity of the artist.

Explanation:

In this case, we are talking about a fusion of design and art that are in contrast. Design is objective; its primary function is motivation and communication.

On the other hand, art is a reflection of the personal feelings of the artist, and each work aims to convey the message in its way. Also, the artist has a natural talent; the designer refines himself by becoming skilled. Because of all of the above, we cannot speak of a work of art in this case.
