Many public figures defend the correlation between the access to violence in media sources and real-world violence and aggression. Back in the 5th century B.C , even Plato worried about the possible effects of violence and that violent themes in plays would have in society. Nowadays, some scholars speculate that some fans of such media may become more aggressive or immoral. Yet, nothing has been proved, and the correlation between violent media and actual violence are still considered inconclusive. Some social scientists who believe in the correspondence of violence and violent media; however, believe that violent media would cause gamers to lose empathy towards the victims displayed in the media and thus more likely to commit acts of violence.

As a cognitive effect from exposure to violent media, the victim reader/audience loses empathy slowly.Children below the age of 16 are especially affected by violent media as their brain is still under formative stage of development.

It has generally by found in most of the surveys that people who read/watch violent media, they are more likely to become violent during their lifetime or they might act violently in society.

So the social message to media is to stay away from violent depiction, more so because it affects children under 16 adversely and can make them criminals later in their life.

The reason why June acted this way was because of deindividuation. It is where a person starts or became unaware of what he or she is doing. It is related or explained on how June was able to be swept and go with the flow in the activities that she usually wouldn't do in on her own. In deindividuation, an individual could lose his or her self awareness in a given situation.

stich3 [128]

Answer:

Stereotype

Explanation:

STEREOTYPE[E IS A OVERGENERALIZED BELIEF O A GROUP PEOPLE OR A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY. It helps people in deciding on any particular problem because we already have experience related to that problem. But at many places, it becomes wrong judgement just because the person could not discriminate in things or people or any particular statement and generalized at all people. It creates biases in judgment. Due to the generalization person who meets a new person thinks that it has all the qualities which a group considers.
