Explanation:

Due to the belief of Manifest destiny, Americans decided to settle in the west of the Appalachians which was the primary area of the native american tribes like Cherokee,Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee Creek and Seminole peoples. the western tribal land became valuable because it was fertile and congenial for settling. The states which saw them included in such lands pressured the federal Government to enact the Indian removal act. "trail of Tears" is the route in which the native Americans undertook their journey by foot for displacement.

During this move, many dies out of exhaustion, starvation and cold. US gained millions of square miles of territory for settling. 12) As a result of the Cuban Missile Crisis, was communism contained or expanded? Explain.
Len [333]

Answer:

Here you go:

Explanation:

The Cuban Missile Crisis was at the height of the Cold War, and led to the containment of communism. Soviet Union supported the Cuban dictator Fidel Castro in the establishment and supply of nuclear missiles to keep the United States occupied with the missiles being so close to their nation. As a result, the U.S. threatened to fire their own nuclear missiles which would have been catastrophic. Peace agreements were signed and the Cuban missiles were either demolished or shipped back to the Soviet Union, causing Soviet Union to back down, and thus resulting in the containment of communism.
