The Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region encompasses countries with Great environmental issues. The southern portion of Central America to the Caribbean's part, including South America presses the major environmental issues like Deforestation and habitat subsistence. The requirement of the whole country and the pressure of export is being done by this region as it possess the soil with highest fertility rate and maximum strength which could help us in modifying the various technology for the HumanKind. Because of deforestation, we take animal shelters away from them, so the major issue occurs again which we known as "Habitat Subsistence". Government has to set the target according to the capacity of a certain region which would not affect the environment. Then, Businesses and Organizations have to understand their roles and need to divide the task into several groups (One for each, according to their natural Capacity), Individuals can help the Government or Statuary body by just following their guidelines and never harm or exploit the environment for our own use. :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Answer:

The answer is C)

Explanation:

The predators were unable to keep the population of the mussels down. The mussels took more area of the rock. Other species that needed space did not return to the tidal pool. Otters can also be keystone species as they eat urchins. By doing so, they prevent the sea urchins form eating all the kelp plants and removing the entire habitat for many other species. The Keystone Species theory shows that this impact of few predators, that made up a minor amount of the total species, could have such a high impact on the ecosystem.

Name two landlocked countries in south america
zheka24 [161]

Answer: Bolivia and Paraguay

Explanation:

A landlocked country is a country surrounded by land or lacking access to the sea or the ocean, and in South America there are two countries that have this characteristic: Bolivia and Paraguay.

This is considered a geographical disadvantage, as these countries must incur higher transportation costs in import and export, compared to other countries in the region. In addition, this fact separates these countries from the wealth and commercial activities that occur on the sea coast, such as fishing and maritime trade.

It should be noted that Bolivia previously had coastline and access to the Pacific Ocean, but lost this privilege in the Pacific War, which confronted it, along with Peru, with Chile.
