The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty) is a treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union (and later on, Russia) for the purpose of arms control. The treaty was signed by President Ronald Reagan and General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987. However, President Donald Trump withdrew from the treaty on February 2019. He argued that Russia was not fulfilling its part of the bargain.
