Answer:

 • Gorbachev and Reagan signed the INF Treaty.
 • Gorbachev was willing to negotiate.
 • Americans objected to nuclear weapons.

The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty) is a treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union (and later on, Russia) for the purpose of arms control. The treaty was signed by President Ronald Reagan and General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987. However, President Donald Trump withdrew from the treaty on February 2019. He argued that Russia was not fulfilling its part of the bargain.

The Peloponnesian War began after
alexira [117]

Sparta attacked Athens by land.

You must note that the war was started by Sparta, and that Sparta had a better army, while Athens had a better navy. Since Sparta initiated the war, they were usually able to choose whether the battles would mostly be on land or in the sea. Sparta acted on them having a better land force, and invaded through land, which led to Sparta's victory.
