First, there were two independent clinical psychologists who were present or on call 24 hours a day. They had the power to intervene and to remove anyone from the study if they thought they were in distress.

Second, we had paramedics and security guards on hand and ready to intervene at a moment’s notice if anything untoward happened in the study.

Third, the study was constantly monitored by members of a five-person independent ethics panel. This was chaired by a Member of Parliament and also included members of the Holocaust Educational Trust, the Howard League for Penal Reform, the BBC’s Independent Editorial Policy Unit and a senior academic psychologist. This committee had the power to change the way the study as a whole was run and to terminate it if they had ethical concerns.

vekshin1

Answer: C. EPA

Explanation:  An EIS is file by any Federal agency by submitting the completed EIS including appendices to EPA through the e-NEPA electronic filing system.

The use of an e-NEPA for electronic filing of EIS's does not change any of the requirements for distribution of EIS's to other federal agencies for review these also includes all EPA Regional Offices or the general public.

This region has the highest average number of hurricanes per year: A. Atlantic. B. Eastern Pacific. C. Western Pacific. D. North
Oksanka [162]

This region has the highest average number of hurricanes per year C. Western Pacific.

Tropical oceans generate around 80 tropical tempests every year, and around 66% are extreme (classification 1 or higher on the Saffir-Simpson size of power). Just about 90% of these tempests structure inside 20° north or south of the Equator. Poleward of those scopes, ocean surface temperatures are excessively cool to permit tropical cyclones to frame, and mature tempests moving that far north or south will start to disperse. Just two tropical sea bowls don't uphold tropical cyclones, since they need waters that are adequately warm. The Peru Flow in the eastern South Pacific and the Benguela Momentum in the South Atlantic convey cool water Equatorward from higher scopes thus dissuade tropical twister advancement. The Pacific Sea creates the best number of tropical tempests and cyclones. The most impressive tempests, some of the time called super storms, happen in the western Pacific.
