Hi there!

Presidents Adams and Jefferson both died on the same day, which was July 4th, 1826.
Jefferson died first, though, earlier in the day. Later on in the evening, Adams passed.
I learned about this in History. :P

Hope this helps! :)

What drew women to the speakeasies?

I need an answer please, quickly..
Kitty [74]

The women's movement was on a roll. They got the right to vote, and many more social recognition's, but were still slightly discriminated against. The "Flappers" were drawn to speakeasy in an effort to break the assumed differences between genders. If men could do it, so could they. Also, in a period of change and "all about me" and breaking away from traditions. Drinking was considered highly unladylike and unproper. Especially since it was illegal.

Renaissance revived passion for what
RSB [31]
I believe that the Renaissance revived passion for antiquity.
The era of Renaissance came immediately after the Middle Ages, which are also known as the Dark Ages, because there isn't a lot of knowledge coming from that era. This is why Renaissance (translated as 'rebirth') wanted to change everything, to focus on knowledge, art, and beauty. Obviously, the way to go was to go back to the Classical era, the era of ancient Greece and Rome, because most art comes from those eras in the first place.

scoundrel [369]
Malcom x was a human activist who was most known for fighting for rights of blacks he was also known for his time of being a spokesperson for the Nation of Islam he could have been considered a “mascot” because he was the face of the Nation of Islam at one point. He also could have been considered a “mascot” while fighting for black rights, because his movements were very well known.
